An introduction to the splendid world of scuba diving, this one day course comprises a 30 minute introduction to the equipment, some basic theory, and the skills required, followed by a half hour session in our pool trying out those skills and getting accustomed to breathing underwater, then you are taken to the sea to do 2 dives by one of our instructors or dive control specialists.

This course is designed for people who have limited time or simply curious about scuba diving. Talk to your instructor if you feel like to upgrade to a full Open Water Course.

Scuba Diver Course

Minimum Age: 10.  Duration: 2 days. Max Dive depth: 12 metres

Scuba Diver is the perfect course for those who do not have time to complete an entire Open Water Diver Program. The content of this program represents about half of a complete scuba diving certification program (SSI Open Water Diver). You can then complete the second half and become a certified diver at another time, anywhere that is convenient for you.

At the end of the program you will receive your Scuba Diver Certificate indicating the successful completion of this program. This certificate entitles you to take part in dives under the direct supervision of a Dive Professional up to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet all over the world. When you decide to complete your Open Water Diver certification, the Scuba Diver Program can be fully credited to your training. This way you will not have to redo any part of the program twice. After a short skill update you can complete your Open Water Diver rating.

Open Water Diver Course

Minimum Age: 15.  Duration: 3 days. Max Dive depth: 18 metres

The full three day Open Water course is by far the most popular. The first day is spent watching videos, going over theory with one of our multilingual instructors and practicing skills in our pool. On the second day we go out to dive in the sea in 12 meters and on the final day we do two more dives to 18 meters.

After this course you will be fully and permanently certified to dive to 18 meters when accompanied by a similarly or more highly certified buddy.

Once you've completed the Open Water Course you can continue your diver education by doing Adventure Dives, Speciality Courses or if you have time the full Advanced Open Water Course.

Dive Guide & Dive Master

To take part in this program, you have to be a Master Diver with 5 Specialties included the Stress and Rescue and have 50 logged dives.

The Dive Guide program is the starting point for the Dive Professional adventure. Completing the Science of Diving specialty course is the next step to become a dive professional and upgrading to Dive Master.

Science of Diving addresses all the areas of diving knowledge in a detailed and comprehensive manner: Physics, Physiology, Decompression Theory, Aquatic Environment and Diving Equipment.

As soon as you have completed Dive Guide, and the Science of Diving programs, you will be awarded with the SSI Dive Master rating. You are then on your way to becoming an SSI Dive Control Specialist.

If you are thinking of becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor then this is the best possible way to prepare for it.

Once you have completed the Dive Master course we encourage all our candidates to stay for at least a few more weeks to get some experience and put all your freshly learned skills into practice. This invariably helps us out and apart from the experience gives you lots of free diving.

We recommend four weeks to complete the training. During that time you have unlimited diving & you can do a few dives per day, which will result in well over the required 60 dives by the end of the course.

Dive Control Specialist

You can enroll in this program from any approved agency as a Dive Master.

After you are certified, you can teach Scuba Skills Update, teach the Open Water Diver Academic and Pool sessions under the indirect supervision of an active SSI instructor.

As a control specialist, you can also take the students on underwater tours after they have completed the required skills with an instructor. You are only one step away to be an SSI dive Instructor.

Extended Range Programs

To take part in this program, you have to be a Advanced Open Water Diver with both the Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox specialties and a minimum of 24 logged dives.

Extended Range diving will open up a diverse variety of aquatic environments, increase your dive depths limits, extend your bottom times and train you on new procedures. Academically you will advance your knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures and theories specific to diving safely with a decompression ceiling.

You will adapt your existing equipment or be introduced to new equipment concepts and the technically oriented dive rig. You will also learn and master new skills designed to enhance your safety and enjoyment using this new equipment design. During your program your instructor will cover everything from supreme buoyancy, propulsion, equipment management and effective decompression.

Throughout the program you will increase the knowledge, skills, equipment and experience to "extend your range of diving" in every sense of the word. Whatever your current level of training, Extended Range Diving will challenge and thrill you mentally and physically
